Yoga and Meditation - The Best Known Modalities to Reduce Stress
What a life-changing experience! Ten years ago I attended my first yoga class with Dr. Jaime Carlo-Casellas. The-----yoga is about being mindful and doing postures. I learned to not focus on others but only compare my abilities today with my abilities yesterday. Kabir uses his medical knowledge and compassionate voice to create a trance and total focus on the NOW. The first time I did a half pigeon and he said this was a great meditation pose, I thought he was crazy and I certainly wouldn't be doing that. Today I meditate and do yoga daily. I am better able to manage the stress from my teaching and psychotherapy practice. Today I seldom have headaches and my back is better than it has been in years, thanks to the yogis of the world incarnated in Dr. Jaime.
